After long and hard discision, im getting rid of my max, theyre just isnt enough stuff out there for our maxes, they started making phat kits for a camry but nor for a maxima, that sucks. Not enough performance parts either everything has to be rebuild and built and cutomed. A benz would probably be cheaper. so anyways hopefully im getting a 95 240SX, if not then def a 93 240sx, then doing an S14 conv, later on and SR swap. Ill probably parting out my max pretty soon. Ill make a list later on. Unless i sell it the way it is. But ill keep u posted those who in need of parts.

 

thats what im about to do, i love my car but its old and showing signs of increasing expenses. I do most of my own work, but a lot is starting to break.

 

Same here! I pay my car off in June and then im getting rid of it! Too much keeps going wrong and im tired of fixing it.

 

Honestly, its not even that its falling apart and braking down, I really dont have any serious problems with it, but i just wanna a car that i can really tune and make it look really phat with a nice body kit, im tired of the square look. with ugly body kits for our maxes.

yeah the bed i sleep on has that same square look you speak of,actually so does my house,but i dont complain about em,it dont bother me

Besides the max is as slow as hell compared to alot of cars these days. ($5000 later)So u get down to 15 sec maybe 14 if ur lucky. That dont cut it for me, I like speed, i like the sportier look better. Max was good the 2 years that i had it, no complaint i still love it, but its way too old and just doesnt cut it anymore.

If you dont like your max, im sorry, but why are you still here? You spend all of this time on the org. strutin' your $hit. (not just you, everyone does) If you want something better, get a 2002 Max, 255HP!!! What has all of your time here gotten you? Smack yourself on your head and releazie what you are doing. The point of the .org is to be proud of what you got, strut your stuff, and when you do have a problem, get advice. But dont come on our time, and complain about it. Think of all the time and money you have put in your Max. Think of how proud you were when you could add something else to your signature!, the new pics you could post. Your talking crap on your max on the forum. In my eyes your doing the same thing to mine and everyone elses on this forum. Get a grip!

OK guys i just agreed that our cars are boxy. I'm not complaining because I love my car and Ive put alot of time into my car because I like the car. Dont act like you guys dont notice the boxy look, because it is very obvious. Also there isnt alot of aftermarket support for our cars and once again im sure you guys notice that too!! So no complaints here just opinions!!!!! Im just ready to upgrade to newer, but thanks for your concerns!!!

 

I never complained about my max. I still like it but its getting old, and im sick of it time for a new car. Im not going to drive the max forever u know. I was on this org for about 2 years or so it was fun, but hey its time to let go. I was proud of my max. And as far as 2K2 max, if i had the money i wouldnt buy it. , first it looks mad ugly. Second for $5000 grand less id get an Altima same HP same weight same everything even looks better. But thats just my opinion. S14 Silvia will do just fine for me. (240sx that is)

i mean all those discussions about price, how to do it, what is needed, what info he needs...all those theories on power gains..etc etc...what this does what that do. some how i feel i've been cheated.
