Grounding VTC's

my vtc are now starting to click and i have read most of the info on them and how to groung but some one said you lose hp and i was wondering does it make a difference if they are clicking if you ground them or just let them click? would that be the same hp? or do you only lose it if you ground them?
thanks Rane

I would try it and if you feel you've lost too much, just reverse the rewire. It takes minutes. There is also an idea of an in-cabin switch. I think someone said you'd need a diode. You'll have to ask someone about that.
