On thursday night, I raced a friend who just got a 2001 Civic Ex. The dumb *** thought it would be close. He's got an auto, so I know this one is gonna be messy. To make a long story short, I took him by about 5 car lengths by 100, at which point I let him crawl away with whatever dignity he had left. There were about 20 of us going out. Then another guy I didn't know in a 93-95 240sx pulls up. He wanted to race through the twisties. All he had was rims. He missed his 1st to second shift, and it was over already, By the time we hit the turns I already had him at my back wheel, and then he slid his way through the turns while I stuck my lane. When I pulled out of the last turn, I had him by at least 3 car lenths.

If he has a stick, and you are on a straight road, it will be a tight race, if he knows how to shift he might take you, if he doesn't you've probably got him. In the twisties with just a FSTB you might be in trouble though.
