Wrecked my Maxima today...

... I rear-ended a brand new 02 Saturn today. Didn't do crap to the saturn, I kinda bounced off the thing! The lady's making a big deal about it, though, cause she just got the car a month ago. Anyway, the beautiful mesh grill I spent the past few days working on and just finished the night before is now in pieces. And my bumper is badly bruised.
... anybody got a 94 SE grill and wanna help a brotha out??
I am so bummed... this has been a rough 24 hrs.

I can't remember what my deductable is or whatever, my old lady takes care of that for me. I imagine it will probably be in my best interest in the end to pay for her damages out of pocket and to fix mine myself. That is what I will most likely have to do .
It just sucks cause for once I wasn't even in a hurry to get home. I was takin my time, it was just real nasty out and she had to brake hard and I locked em up. I might have been able to avoid it had I reacted a little quicker, I don't know. I was pretty tired from working all night. This 3 jobs crap is killin me...

Man that sucks... what happended to fast or jsut that she stopped short....

I rear ended a 02 durango on december 9.. wet slick roads, mother focker stopped short and slammed my breaks... Needless to say my car nosed dived and lifted his rear end... 1000+ dollars in damages to me.. and he gets a few scratches on the bumper... complaints to popo that his chassis might be missalined.. bul shet... I took all the damage... that is the reason my max looks so horrible.. bad paint job that is going back to the person who did the job on monday..... pray for me..

Ack, that sux dude
Err, and about paying the damages out of pocket... Those cars are REALLY expensive, it may not look like much damage, but there really is... My mothers' truck has been in 2 accidents so far (It's a 97 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton) 1st one when I was driving we got rear ended by a Sunfire... Car was totaled, but it only looked like it snapped the brackets on our bumper... WRONG! $1,800 later, the truck was fixed...
2nd was a deer at about 20 MPH... Just looked like a broken grille, and you could only see the damage if you looked REAL close... WRONG! That was another $1,100...
Now, my Max... Hitting a deer at 55MPH, I have duct tape holding my headlight in, and I banged out the damage on the hood, just looking for new mounts for my lights
And as for a new grille, there's a guy in the parts f/s thread that's parting out a '90 and '94 Max, I'm actually talking to him about the light mounts, and I haven't seen anyone that wanted to buy the grille yet...

Thanks for the tip.
I don't think there could be any "invisable" damage to her car. I know how Saturns are built, I've seen one in person cut in half so you could see all the insides, and they are tough little ba$tards! They are like bumper cars. They're made to bump off of stuff. I saw her again this morning on my way home from work. It looks fine, as it did when I inspected it at the scene. We'll just have to see...

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hate it when people just stop hard for no apparent reasons. Probably waiting to set somebody up for a rear end. You can find 3rd gen Maxima parts at the salvage yard all the time. Too bad I can't say that for the 4th gen. Good luck on your quick repair.

This old lady stopped WAYY short in front of me one day and I nailed her. sent her lil **** rolling about 25 yards. Not a scratch on her car though, she had an old Oldsmobile or some sh*t like that. That was in my old 88 accord though...ahhhh the old days of a 4-banger
