92 SE 5 speed Vs. 90 300zx...
well, last night i finally got a chance to run my friend in his 90 N/A 300zx 5 speed. hes got twin turbo exhaust (doubt it makes a difference), stillen intake, stillen ECU, stillen UDP, lightened flywheel, centerforce clutch..i think thats all..
i have homemade hot air intake, ASP UDP, advanced timing, throttle body coolant bypass, bad front tires, dying clutch, bad VTC, bad ignition coils.
well, first time, we punched it from 35 (both in second), i got a little jump because i nailed it first. by the time we hit 50, he was a length ahead, i missed 3rd. so we went again, this time from about 15. i pulled on him till about halfway through second (started in first), then he flew past me.
didnt get to run from a stop, but that car is damn fast.
he keeps up (slightly walks past) another friends very modded S10 4.3L (port+polish, ignition, holley throttle body, exhaust, headers, electric fan...theres alot of stuff..its a torque monster though).
i'm sure if my coils were good and VTC was functional, i would keep up with the Z until he dropped his TT motor in.
