Tune up needed?

I have a 92 Maxima that seems to get the best power at about 2.5-3.5 RPMs, but when I get much pasted that the engine doesn't seem to produce enough power, like it isn't getting enough fuel. I have a POP charger and a new exhaust, so I doubt it is an air flow problem. Any ideas? New spark plugs or just a complete tune up? Thanks for your info.

Re: Tune up needed?

Check the fuel filter. At high speeds the car may not be getting enough fuel, causing a power loss.

Tune your car up and replace the usual things (filters, plugs, etc) that need replacing, then worry if the problem is something else if it still doesn't go away. If something hasn't been adjusted or replaced in a long time it could cause problems.
