Is the cf hood for the 3rd gen max made? If so, how much? and where do I get one?

ok i am slow, but what is exactly the benefit in getting a carbon fiber hood?

 

lighter weight(usually only about 9-10 lbs compared the 40-50lb stock hood)...but majority of people buy it 99.9% for looks.

 

If you guys send your money, I beleive that we are only one person short..!!! We may even already have ten. I'm not quite sure because I've talked to so many people, I don't know who sending their money in. I have definitely secured 8 spots though. As the mail orders come in, I will keep everybody posted.

So close but so far

 

It's confirmed...JRicker will make number ten (10) if he sends his money. DA-MAX is number nine (9), Ngthing sent his money today (8), and Jahlil sent his money out yesterday (7). I already have six money orders here. So I think we did it...I expect all the money orders here by the end of next week. My hood will go out the following week.

I don't think you'll make it in time...Right now the last person will either be you or JRicker and it seems that JRicker will be sending his money this week. Once I receive the three money orders that have been sent to me already, I will notify everybody. At that point, there will only be one spot left for the deal. You guys can fight it out over who takes the last spot, but I will only be taking ten money orders. I am tired of waiting for other people to get their **** together. I posted this deal back in the middle of January and it is just now being filled. I will let you guys know.

david c could you let me know if these hoods will be availible to buy after the group sale has been completed. if so please let me know how they will be orderd. if not would it be possilble to get in on the group sale still, i will send money out asap. Almost forgot, are these hoods garanteed for fit and finish. How long?

 

hey David one question...I assume these hoods will have "pre"-drilled wiper nozzle sprayer holes?? I remember from past CF deals for the 4th gen guys, the first set they had made didn't have these!!


and to the guy asking about the avaiablity afterwards, I think it was mentioned in another post that after this deal the price will shoot up to $650 or so....

 

They will be available after the group deal, but they will cost $600 plus shipping. If you want to get in on the group deal, there's one spot left. I've told others that the first person to send me their money, is the person who gets the last spot. These hood will look and fit just like OEM because they are using my hood as the mold. It will take approximately a month from the day I send my hood away until completion.

CF hoods normally dont have wiper squirters or nozzles!!

 

1. Are there any options for a hood scoop? 2. Why are there only 10 "positions" available? Don't you need AT LEAST 10 people instead of ONLY 10 people? I would think that the more people involved, the cheaper the price. But, what you're saying is that they'll only sell you 10 hoods at this price, right?

 

not that i can recall, there isnt a option for hood scoop, its just gonna be an OEM style hood made of carbon fiber

David, already posted this deal since january, since then he has a hard time even getting at least 10 people..Its April now and thats what he has decided as soon as he can get 10 we are just gonna send off the money, we are tired of the other 100 dead beats who said they were gonna send money and they never did

if you wanna be like the 11th guy go ahead and send the money as quick as possible

more than 10 is welcome as long as you are really willing to spend the money now
