ok, did the tune up *my self*, to try and fix my black exaust/slow car problem... yea.. did not work i mean it feels better but im still getting a loss of power and black smoke every now and then.

i replaced the rotor, distributor, wires, plugs( they were so bad looking)

i was speeking to some car dude he said it "could be" a knock sensor
and that i should get my fuel injectors cleaned! he said "it works"!!

wtf is a knock sensor?

The knock sensor senses "knocking" or "pinging" when you use crap gas or are pushing the car a bit too hard and retards the timing to compensate.

I think it's time to grab a manual and start testing out all the engine management sensors one by one. O2 sensor, MAFS, knock sensor, TPS, temp, etc, etc....
