Warpspeed CAI in a VG pics?

Anyone have pictures of wsp's cai installed in a VG? I am just about done with my install and wanted to compare pictures and notes.

I'll take search results also if you can find them...

I expected a tight fit (as the insturctions said), but if the rubber tubing connecting the throttle intake to the "S" tube were 4 inches instead of the 3 inches, it would have that much more room. I will take pictures and upload them tonight as I remember or have time.

Anyone else?

I have a photo of my engine area on my cardomain website. You can check it out there. It's a good photo, but it doesn't have the greatest view of the CAI. But if you wanna see it, here's the site address: http://www.cardomain.com/id/hurricanemaxima

Thanks.

Thanks guys.

I took the battery tray off for more room during the install; Once the CAI was installed, I could not get more than 2 screws to hold down the tray. The rest jus wouldn't line up as the CAI was in the way.

Has this happened to any one of you guys.

I actually had to cut a part of the battery tray off for everything to fit. I never used any screws for the tray though. I don't even remember the tray having any screws.

Yeap.

That's my next step. The tray has about 4 screws holding it down. Do you need all 4? probably not. Should you use screws to hold down the tray? I would; but then if nothing's come aloose or shorted in your engine, then you have a point.

I like to live on the safer side of chance; tomorrow, I cut so I can put all four screws back in.

Are all of you guys with this problem using the WSP CAI? When I did my PR everything went back in without a hitch. Every bolt, no cutting or anything....

I took the jig saw to the tray. I cut a small wedge in one of the corners. I can get all four screws in there now and optima yellow top will fit with no problems.
