91 GXE Speed Sensor

Does anyone have a junked 91 GXE willing to sell me your Speed Sensor? I have to let the miles start rolling again.

I have a problen with my speedo not working also...where is this sensor located? How much is it from nissan?

i bought one from courtesy yesterday for $150 , i sold the car today w/o putting it in, if your intrested i will let it go for 130 shipped.

I have a NOS speedo that i bought from a swap meet last year...will this have that sensor in it or is it located somewhere else?

the sensor is located on the trans.

oh ok i did one on my sentra se-r...its was 5spd though...will it make a difference in the automatic?

MaximaGxR - The speed sensor is located on the transmission right near the firewall. If you lean over and look down from the driver side fender, near the oil filter you'll see some wires connected to a cylinder thing on the transmission.

Max420 - I was looking to spend a little less than that for a speed sensor from a junked Max or something. Its an old car and wouldn't want to invest much more in it.

Johnny, i went the same rout before i bought the new one, i bought one from the junk yard for $75, first its hard to find because it takes away something from the tranny which most junk yard tranny shops dont want to do , secondly.....well atleast for me it died out on me in a matter of days so thats why i went for a new unit.

thanks johnny i think im just gunna buy a 300 parts acr for that price...does it have to be a gxe and auto or can it be a 5spd se?
