i bought one from courtesy yesterday for $150 , i sold the car today w/o putting it in, if your intrested i will let it go for 130 shipped.

MaximaGxR - The speed sensor is located on the transmission right near the firewall. If you lean over and look down from the driver side fender, near the oil filter you'll see some wires connected to a cylinder thing on the transmission.
Max420 - I was looking to spend a little less than that for a speed sensor from a junked Max or something. Its an old car and wouldn't want to invest much more in it.

Johnny, i went the same rout before i bought the new one, i bought one from the junk yard for $75, first its hard to find because it takes away something from the tranny which most junk yard tranny shops dont want to do , secondly.....well atleast for me it died out on me in a matter of days so thats why i went for a new unit.
