help help help!

I rewired my corners tonight and they worked fine. But when I was driving home, they went out along with the light on the shifter that illuminates what gear you are in, and the gauges. Did I blow a fuse or somethign? Headlights still work. Interior door lights still work. I followed the directions on Craig's page exactly. What could it be? Please reply because I want to go ahead and fix this tonight.

Problem solved. I just blew out the tailight fuse. Thanks PATRICK94SE!
Now that my corners are brighter, I just have to find some new bulbs to match my white headlamps.

I forgot to mention in our conversation you might want to double check you wiring...fuses usualy blow for a reason. You may just need to get a higher Amp fuse?

Well, I searched after I made my post, lol. I read somewhere that its better to use a 15? fuse and that the reason they blew is because I overloaded the circuit. So, I'll probably go to the store tomorrow and buy a 15 just to be safe.

Next time you short something, instead of your fuse blowing, something else will go.

He is saying the higher amp fuse will be more resistant to blowing and may not blow in time

When i was trying to install my own headunit, i screwed up badly and blew the taillight fuse AND something else. I have replaced all the fuse since then but i still can't figure out why my tail light works but not my gauge and shifter light doesn't. I have also replaced the interior dimmer switch but still no success. So does anyone have a solution to my problem?
