So what's up w/ the injectors? And why not get the stock one lightened? It's not as light as an aluminum one(16lbs vs 12lbs ish) but it's alot cheaper.

Ah what? Dunno? I'm not trying to harp on you, was just curious to see what's happening. If you are short on cash, I don't think spending $400+ on a flywheel if you still have injector problems. Just my o2.

The machine shops are giving you crap.. they're the ones that are supposed to balance it!

tell them to get the sumb!tch resurfaced, lightened, and balanced. it'll cost you about $75. take your new pressure plate with you when you drop it off, so they will have it available to do the balancing. If they tell you they can't balance it, then they shouldn't be in business- that's their job.

AASCO just made a huge batch of Flywheels. i know cause mine was the first one out. They made one batch but there were screwed up so they had to scrap them and make more and i had mine overnight delivered to me. What # are you calling. If i remember right their shop phone isn't hooked up yet. If you need his home phone or anything let me know. or his e-mail.

i called Unorthodox directly and they said it would take 2-6 weeks for production. i called maxxima tuning and he just gets it from them. or as far as i know. if anyone knows him and could give him a call i'd really appreciate it. maybe i asked about the wrong flywheel.

thanks!

no he didn't. When you call him, He'll let you know whats going on, then call AASCO and see if they have some. then call you back and take your information. AASCO should have some, cause they just got done mass producing them when i was trying to get mine. If they don't then there's alot of people buying them that aren't speaking up on the org
i would give you AASCO's # directly but i lost it.

ok, so here's the deal. stillen had one in stock, ready to ship AND dean hooked me up with a price of 450 bucks. which isn't too shabby. it'll be at the shop by friday also. so it worked out. thanks for calling bud, he told me it would take 10 days to get one to my door, and normally that would be fine, but i need my car back. that's how i get to class. anyway, i found a site that has teh AASCO flywheel for under 400.

http://www.optauto.com/webstore/

i have no idea about service, but custom maxxima seemed like they were very friendly and helpful. they might have even come down on price. i don't know. but i thought i'd show this site as well. . . thanks again sith for all the help!
