Using cruise control today going 65, I pressed the accel button and it was going to 70, but then seemed to cut off and the speedo and car went down to 55 and the cruise control light just flashed consistently. I tried hitting any of the cruise buttons on the steering wheel, but the light just kept flashing. Turned cruise off then used it again with no problems.

Did a search and could not find anything. What would have caused this problem? Perhaps a loose speedo sensor (as there are times I will be moving but the speedo stays on the 0mph pin until it randomly "wakes up")?

I have the exact same problem with my Cruise Control. It just flashes at me when I try to set it. Have no idea what the problem is but looks like I'll be waiting until summer to get it fixed.

Me too...it does shut off but the green light keeps flashing..
