Doing a tune up! What should i have done??

Thats my other thread about my car problems. Anyway i want to do a valve adjustment and thinking about plugs an coil packs. My car has 160K miles so i dont know if they have have ever been replaced. How about the wires going to the packs? I read posts that people have seen gains. Should i just replace them or just check the resistence. Anything else i should do? ive never done the PCV valve so im thinking about that.
