I have a 90 maxima SE with the stock spoiler on i want to replace it with a aluminum one or carbon fiber, if i take the stock one off is there anything that has to be removed, i kinda looked at it and it looks like there is something sticking out at the ends?

 

I think part of it maybe bolted on, or I think I'm mixin that up w/ the 3rd brake light being bolted onto the spoiler. Not sure, just a kid w/ a max

 

Sorry, I meant 3rd brake light, but i guess u got my point

 

I was at a bodyshop and this guy with a third generation was removing his spoiler to put on an aluminum spoiler and the factory spoiler is held by glue and two bolts. He had to patch up the wholes temporarily until he had money to fix them. But there are two bolts on each side, 4 in total.
