pcv question

I have a SE and i recently changed the valve, but when changing the valve, i couldn't remember if the old valve was screwed all the way down or if some thread was left!! With the new valve i have, i can only get it to screw on half way and i'm scared to really put in some elbow grease cause i don't wanna mess anything up if its not suppose to screw all the way down!! Any other person have or has had this problem?

Is it an OEM valve or some other company?

Don't force it. As long as it's fairly tight and seals, it's fine. If you overtighten the valve, it might strip the alum head(BAD), crack the head(EVEN WORSE) or break the valve inside the head(ALMOST AS BAD)

You should get into a habbit of using anti-seze grease whenever tightening things like that (anything into the motor or exhaust), Incase you have'nt already.
