My first promblem!

OK I turn on my bmw light and for low beam it trys to have high beam, low beam and daytime light on at once but it make the lighting very dimm. I put high beam on and it is outstanding compared the stock one but the low beam turns off which with BMWs it stays on. Also I notice the High beam indictor is some what lite but not full like when I turn the High beam on. I also got the harness just tuochining the high beam bulb and it worked just like my 9004 it had a high and low beam Should I switch the H7 wiring around

Ok, just to warn you I haven't done this yet, but this is what I figure.

Did you wire it up right? I don't know how H7 works, but AFAIK on this conversion when you adapt your stock 9004 to 9005/6 you split up the 3 wires and figure out which is High, Low, and Ground. High wire goes to one bulb, Low to the other, and split the ground to both.

Unless there is some strange wiring in those lights (ellipsoids?) you're using you can't make both stay on for highbeam without modifying the switch in the light stalk or using some relays... Some guys were discussing this a while back.

Also, for the daytime running lights I don't know how these work but I think the car must be equipped to deal with it. The FSM lists a "Daytime running module" for Canadian Maximas. I think it just runs either the highs or lows at 1/2 power. Mine come on as soon as I have the key in "on" and are only 1/2 brightness but can't tell if it's high or low.

I figured it out My lights are not ellipsiods. I investagated the wiring inside my BMW FREE FORM headlight that is not in yet and it is wired up already so both High and Low work I have the wires mixed up. I looked on my Girlfreind bmw and the 9005/6 are alot easier to hook upYes I am still trying to figure out the daytime running lights. Sunday will be my part 2 and next thursday is clean up my engine by with touch up paint. Also if the CF hood finally are made I can permanetly mount these in. The lighting on the one in is 100X better than my stock EVEN though it is nnot wired correctly Not Kidding

Are you saying they're finished or do you just mean that we've got the 10 people?
