What's Everyones Plans?

Just wondering, what's everyone planning on doing to their car once the weather clears up and through the summer.?

I might as well participate in my own thread. I'm planning on getting some 17s with some tires. Doing my suspension with either ST springs and either Tokicos or KYBs. Finally getting my windows tinted. I might take out my cone filter and go with the CAI. I'll think of the other stuff in a little bit

Don't we all love'em. Some people say there's no point in modding a 10 yr old car, but it's like one of those sentimental things.

and hopefully a lot of stuff like CAI, exhaust, maybe body kit, (how's that coming along, the skyline style on e someone was working on), maybe finish off the interior, with black headlining, and pillars and stuff...and there's no reason not to put money in a car that's 10 years old if you plan on fixing it when it dies on you.

you know, i just thought of something. why do people always say that and there are other people around fixing up cars so old they should be in museums by now. I mean, the old muscle cars and stuff are cool but if people ask US why we do that to 10 year old cars they should be more into asking the people doing that to 30, 40, 50 year old + cars. i am going to get the vg30et swap done soon. as soon as my bike is sold the engine will be in the car.

Personally i would have to say that those "30, 40, 50 years old muscle cars" symbolizes more then just an old car. I think it does kinda represent an american identity. That is why they keep fixing up their cars and stuff, just so they can keep the american sprite alive Now as for fixing up a 10 years old import, it does look rather weird. I mean those car really don't mean much to anybody else but you. So only you would understand why money is still continuously being spent into the car. And that is my belief and i am sticking to it

I plan on getting a WW body kit installed, a new paint job, new rims and tires, new fiberglass installation of subs in trunk. The paint job will be a translucent hunter green. Basically, there are a few layers of silver metallic paint under the green. When you stare directly at the car, it will sparkle. The test paint on a metal sampler from the shop looked friggin awesome. My engine is even being detailed.

BUT, and there always is a but isn't there? I have to wait until my 02 Max SE is out of the shop. It is getting a SC and body kit installed right now. Hey, I gotta have something to drive.

Hmm, this list turns out to be a bit bigger (and expensive) than I'd like it to be, but....

Near future:
-JWT popcharger (waiting for weather to clear to take pics)
-Addco RSB install (pics & too lazy to extract ramps from shed )

Who knows when:
-sweet-azz 17" rims and 235/45 tires (cash flow prob )
-repaint infamous fading silver side moldings
-get 2 leather interior pieces fixed/refininshed
-get windshield polished and 2 dings filled in
-repair 1 BMW E36 light and install those things!
-get windows tinted
-change to Redline tranny lube
-Umm... get a CD changer system to replace stock stereo....

My bad, I meant 01. Don't pay much attention to the keyboard at night with the lights off. Bought the 01 about 3 months before the 02 came out. Since then, I just did the headlight swap. Couldn't justify trading in for an 02 cause I would lose about $3500 on the trade. So, I decided to SC. Much better off that way.

this weekend 100 sq feet of raamat for doors and rebuild rear deck.

In transit order 2k Muffler with custom or warpspeed B Pipe.

While the car is in for custom exhaust work will also have warpspeed subframes welded in + Beef up sway bar mounts for ADDCO or ST sways later.

S/S Brake Lines and unspecified brakes replace or upgrade.

Then probably konis and maybe JWT ECU.

i'm not sure how much the engine is going to cost me right now, but so far i've tried putting a 250 cc engine on it(it's not working for some reason) and i've only spent like, 200 on everything so far. go to mtcookson.homestead.com if you want to see pictures with the 250.

Hi guys,
Long time no post, I've been real busy recently.
Heres a small list of changes i've made and will be makeing to the car,

M3 BMW mirrors fitted
R33 GT badges fitted to front wings
Angel eyes in E36 lamps fitted
Intercooler cut into stillen apron (not plumbed in yet!)
Front licence plate cut into front bumper
Doors converted to solenoid operation (ready for shaveing)
Turbo conversion (waiting on parts)
Chopped a coil off the front springs (looks way better)
Final touches to R33rear spoiler conversion (dont try this at home)

I think thats about it, apart from some other small cosmetic body mods, should keep me out of trouble for a bit,
Take care,
Stu.

Exactly where are you finding a 600 cc Honda dirtbike engine? I don't know if any of you are as familiar as I am with the dirtbike scene.. but the pro's ride 250's. To my knowledge there has never ever been a 600 cc, hell even a 400 cc dirtbike produced by anyone..
