carbon fiber

has anyone here ever used or seen someone use that carbon fiber style film for your interior? its like a plastic film that fits to curve surfaces wit heat application. its made by folia tec, and i can get it for a lot cheaper that what a real carbon fiber interior kit would cost. if anyone has actually seen what this stuff looks like in real life, let me know.

ive never seen the folia tec kind, but ive seen other brands that are the same thing. it looks pretty cheesy in person. i just got a cf dash kit off ebay for $39.99. it is the same thing as the $298 ones that joshua tree sells. the quality is excellent. no flaws at all high gloss finish. i was amazed when i got it in the mail and saw how good it was. the brand that mine is is www.wooddashfactory.com

I've used that stuff. Normally I stand behind FoliaTec all the way with thier products, but I didn't like that stuff. It did look cheazy, and it didn't wrap around curved surfaces when heated like advertised. EBay is your friend...
