He put a wings west front spoiler and cut the bottom of the bumper and top of the spoiler and cross bar to give it a wide mouth look.

My 17's

For the man that said Riding on CROME is the ****, He was correct. Nothing beats crome. But then again, it all depends on what style you want your max to be like. Flossy look, go for Crome. Performance wise, go for Silver rims like 5 star boys.

17'Inch (ELITE INDIS)

my black ice shines just as bright as chrome, and the way I see it is everyone has chrome and most of it is on cheesy looking rims that everyone has, plus chrome starts to look like cheap plastic hubcaps, when all you seee is cheesy chrome rims. and people cant get enough of the black ice, one minute its shining the next it looks like gunmetal, plus it doesnt get messed up in the bad weather like chrome. take a soapy rag and some warm water to them, and they look as good as the day you bought them./

There is no way that one rim here shines as bright as the other. My rims are 9 months old and get clean with just soapy water anyone can tell real chrome from plastic hubcaps from a mile away. Black ice may go from black ice to gun metal but even in bad wheather chrome is chome it will never be mistaken for anything else. Black ice just reminds me of chrome that needs to be cleaned. I'm really not doggin your style just stating my opinion. My car goes for looks, if you have any performace mods other than like a pop-charger, You are kinda wastin you time with heavy *** chrome rims. NJ34 your car looks fast and i like your black ice more than alloy. I'm $200 away from that gd on the body kit!!

Yeah but is chrome high maintence? Does it rip, crack, bubble, rust, or whatever else could happen? Do I have to clean them everyday, or after a rain storm, or what have you?

They require the same about of maitenance as other wheels. It all depends on how clean u want to keep them. They don't rip or crack or bubble or anything like that. The only drawback to chrome rims is that they are heavier than other rims. But if you are going for looks nothing is better that a set of clean chrome rims. Even after rain and all they will still shine. They just shine a lot more when they are clean. I don't think they will ever get so dirty that you won't know that they are chrome.

This is not true... chrome wheels tend to peal in the bead area causing the tire to lose air. A pain in the but when it happens and it usually never stops until you get the wheel rechromed or buy new wheels. Trust me I deal with it every day at my work. Chome is a look that certain people like, I personally do not like chrome because of all the problems it may cause, and the fact that they are not just a little heavier they are A LOT heavier then a standard alloy wheel. If you want to know what i am talking about ask a lot of the people with older Lexus's and Mercedes.

ANY wheel will look bad if it is not taken care of. Cheap rims will deteriorate even more quickly. If you take pride in your ride then you won't have a problem. You also have to take in consideration the various types of chrome wheels. If you buy cheap chrome plated wheels and let brake dust and road grime build up on them while you are hitting curbs and scratching the finish then you will have issues. If chrome rims were soooo hard to keep up and went to hell in a month or two, then they wouldn't cost what they cost and they wouldn't be on Lexus's and Mercedes (since you used them as examples) and factory "chrome" rims are a waste of money anyway. And i can't think of too many luxury options on a car that are worth the money they cost. I think thats why there is such a large market for aftermarket parts. Factory Chrome wheels are lame anyway. Bottom line, if you take care of your wheels like you do your car, you should be ok. If you are cheap and bad to your car, then you will be cheap and bad to your wheels and you probably won't keep either of them up. My 2 cents.

OK let me put it this way... No matter how well you take care of chrome wheels they WILL start to peal. You may not know it but they are, because it is on the inside of the tire, where you can't see. I have put on new wheels that cost a lot of $$ that have started to peal within 1 yr. It is just my opinon that chrome wheels are more likely to have problems. I am not talking about curb damage. I will take pics of all the chrome wheels i see everyday and post em just for you.. factory and after market wheels.. The only time i would get chrome is on a SUV.. and 20" sorry don't take it personally i am very opinonated on wheels cause i deal with them everyday. If you like the bling bling look it's all good.

mabey its the climate you live in but

if you leave your chrome rims on in the winter and all the **** on the road (salt and sand) will take its toll on it, It will ruin the finish and put pit marks, dont argue this point with me I see it all the time, I deal with wheels all the time, and my rim supplier deals with wheels all the time, and he'll tell you the same thing.

chrome is high mantenance, alot of people buy chrome just to say "yo I got some chrome bling bling cha ching buttons son." and the buy it in small *** sizes, dont take care of it and it looks like ****, It seems to me that most people with after market wheels have chrome its getting played out, If you like the look then fine, and if I spent the money on wheels I'd take care of them any finish! chrome does look ok on some wheels but I think most people get it because it costs more, if Black Ice cost more and was more know youd get alot of people buying it because it was the most expensive, then it would get played out and Id have to get some copper rims or something lol.
