90 Maxima
I've had a 90 Maxima that's had relatively few problems. It's now stuck in the garage. A few days ago it wouldn't start. Engine turns over but doesn't catch. No ignition spark. No power to fuel pump. "Check Engine" light doesn't come on when the key is turned. Any ideas ..... I'm lost....

Checked fuses
Check the Engine Cont. fuse first. Go from there and make sure the goil is firing. If it is the fuse though, you'll have to track down why it blew in the first place (a short in a sensor could blow it). Hope you figure it out!

Respnse to initial post:
Hey! I think I may have the same problem that you do. However, I keep on cranking it over until I hear a click sound and then it finally catches. It is strange and wears down my battery because of the constant cranking. I had my repairman look at it and he thinks it could be a relay by the fuse box in the dash. That seems to be where the clicking sound comes from. Do you experience the problem only when in warm or hot weather and/or when the engine is warmed up when you try to start it?
Hope we both figure it out.
