Rear door trim removal
We 'donated' our 93 (Manufactured 12/92) GXE to our son (17).
He came home with the driver-side rear window half-down and seemingly jammed. The motor barely budges it in either direction.
I started to take the inside door trim off for a 'look-see', but don't know how to remove it.
The 'snaps' pop out OK, and I removed the hidden Philips screw from the top of the door-pull (the one at a 45deg angle).
Two things concern me...
1. It seems that the trim is still anchored somewhere near the door-release lever.
2. Assuming I find out how to remove the trim completely, do I also have to remove the plastic trim (I see one screw under the ashtray)in order to lift it away?
Any tricks I should know?
(I can't find a Chilton's or similar manual locally - we're in SUV land).

Re: Rear door trim removal
yes you have to take that screw out under the plastic and there is also one holding the bottom of the handle on that needs to come out.
You need to buy a window regulator...that is a very common problem in the 89-94 maximas.
Craig has a very good site that covers this here
good luck and dont fuss to bad at you son it wasn't his fault (this time) j/k
