Indiglo Gauges

Hey guys, I just got my indiglo gauges today...going to install them this weekend. What are your opinions on these? I want to hear what people think about them. This set changes color with the flick of a switch..from blue to green...looked pretty decent in the picture, just have to see how they are when I put them in...

They are overlays so if I don't like them, I could just take them off...but we'll see...

What do you guys think?

I like mine, they are 6 color though. I had a hard time finding a power source for them. The best of luck to you.

6 color? What colors? Where'd you get those and for how much? Mine came with a power source, just have to connect the wires...

I got them off of e-bay. There is 3 shades of blue, and 3 shades of green. They are called 6 color. And when I say power source, Im talking about when you have to ground them and when you have to connect the power wire. I had a hard time finding a place for the power wire because i didn't want to splice into my wiring harness on the back of the gauges.

The wire on mine look long enough, I hope...we'll have to wait and see. I got mine for about $50.

Meant to ask you..how long did it take you to put yours in, did you have to remove the needles, or just fit them over? these say I don't have to remove the needles. I just hope it doesn't take too long to put them on.

1st- It wasnt that the wire was too short, it was finding a place to wire it too. 2nd- It took me about 1 hr. 3rd- You just slide the gauges over the stock ones. No removing of needles necessary! Have Fun!

lol, thanks I will try to have fun. 1 more question, where did you end up wiring it to? Could save me some time when I get down to it.

Thanks again

ah, funny story. I ended up wiring the power underneath one of the screws behind the gauges. It ended up to be the power for the little bell that you hear when you start up your car or disconnect one of the seatbelts. So every time I start my car, my gauges flash. Kinda funny to me.

hey even though i dont have indiglo gauges i would recommend wiring them to the little light in the cigarette lighter. its real easy. i wired a neon blacklight to it, and it comes on when you turn on your lights, which would be perfect for the gauges. thats my recommendation.

that's a good idea for them to come with your lights. i got mine on a switch, got everything on a switch actually, i like to be able to control things seperately.

these gauges are overlays that go on top of my current black gauges...the needles will still be exposed and the same color, just the face will be indiglo
