the new plan, need help with suspension

maybe some of you guys have seen my max for sale. well it still is. instead of spending all my money on a passat. i am going to buy another max just like the one i have but cleaner. my cousin was origally going to buy it but he said no. so i jumped at the chance.(i love these cars) i will buy it today. 92 SE 5spd, 114K miles, no sunroof, working bose stereo(still works very well) cream color, very clean for $2900.00. it does have the vtc problem though but i think i might be able to do it myself or a friend can do it as well.
the car also needs a new shock/strut in the front passanger side. this gives the perfect opportunity to put a new suspension. i was thinking Tokico or Koni shocks/struts and Eibach or Suspension Techniques springs. could you guys tell me what setup you have. thanks and wish me luck.
