Question on Powretech Muffler...

I was looking at this muffler and wanted to get some feedback from those of you that have one or those of you that have any dealings with these mufflers.

A seller on eBay is selling these PowerTech SS dual 4" tipped performance mufflers at about $95+S&H. I really like the look of this muffler, but I'm kinda weary about the dual 4" tips being too large (would there be a backpressure issue?)/too loud (stock drone w/a kick is what I'm looking for - I don't like loud mufflers). I've heard that if you can see through a muffler that you can expect it to be loud, and I can't tell from the picture if you can see-through it or not.

Thanks for the advice in advance. I do plan on going with a Warpspeed y-pipe and a high-flow catalytic converter. I'm also curious about a combination like this passing the CA emmissions/smog test. I've read that a y-pipe will produce "legal" emmissions once the engine reaches "normal driving temperatures". I'd like to go ahead and start to assemble the parts, but I want to make sure that I pass the smog test this year and not have to undo what I'm trying to do performance-wise.

Thanks again.

as Bman has said over and over and over again....."aftermarket muffler = loud" , if you don't want loud, stay stock or get a 2k Max muffler! the Powertech is a stright through(no chambers like stock), its gonna drone and be loud and no the 4" tips will no affect backpressure....
