300zx flywheel?

i was wondering, in order to save some money, would an aluminum N/A 300zx flywheel work on our cars?
i was wondering because no place around here will lighten my stock flywheel, and i can get a Z FW for pretty cheap ($250ish)
i know the clutches are basically the same, so i was wondering the the flywheels were..

They could be the same. I'm sure the part #s are different though. However since they use the same clutch housing and disk it should bolt up.

the clutch housing and disc from a max will bolt to the flywheel, but that doesn't mean that the bolt pattern is the same for the flywheel to the crank. I bet that's what's gonna determine if it fits. also, whether it'll fit onto the crank. My aluminum one was a really tight fit. . . .

It does not fit. I know because I had the guys at Fidanza (www.aluminumflywheels.com) check for me. However, they will be make a flywheel for the VG, VE, and the 3.0 VQ with the next 2-3 weeks, when they finish they are going to let me know, and I will try to run a group buy, should be well under $400.

JWT is around $500, isnt it?
i just need to make my clutch last until graduation, then i'm taking half of what i get and putting it right into my car, hopefully selling my OEM clutch kit (opened once to look at it) and getting ACT street clutch, hopefully my tranny wont self destruct.
