upgrading injectors, a quick question if these will work

when i was searching for info on this, i found that NA Z injectors are an upgrade from ours on our maximas. However, i put up a post asking if anyone had any NA Z injectors and someone with a set of TTZ injectors with 40k miles on em emailed me. He only wants 100 bucks plus shipping. thing is i couldn't find anything on TTZ injectors. i was hoping some of the nissan buffs would know if the resistance is correct. I believe it was like 12.8 or something, i'll have to look it up again. anyway, help if ya can, if not, it's cool

NA Z injectors are not an upgrade. They are the same 259cc size. It is the turbo's that are 370cc and upgrades. If you wanted to pick up cheap injectors buy some MSD 36lb/hr made for a mustang and make a custom fuel rail. This should run you right under $300, but you need something to control the fuel. S-AFC at the minumin if you don't use resistors.

And if you really wanna go big, get older Rx7 turbo injectors. They're 720+ cc's and very cheap. Of course you might need to wire some resistors in if they aren't the right resistence but that should be a problem. BTW, a S-AFC only will work up to 10% increase in injector size. 370's are a 30% increase over stock. No go...

no upgraded injectors will be "plug and play" without ECU revamping....

I believe you got the S-AFC confused with the fields fuel controller. The S-AFC is good up to 40% but I read that the fields was the 10% increase. Of course I could be wrong though.

unless you're going to go crazy with needed power, youd be better off to buy an FMU and just bump up the fuel pressure.

this will be good to about 300hp. (i.e. look at the 4th gen SC guys. they're running the same size injectors)
