i was just wondering how many original miles you have on your max? mines a 94gxe and it has 102k miles. i guess its alright...lol

I have a 89 se with 139,000 and it still hits redline everytime. Thats vg power.

u betta keep driving..cuz i just hit 200k last week (got a picture too!) 1993 SE 5sp...nice.
just replaced the alternator (3rd time in the last 6 years). I got smart this time and bought one with lifetime warantee. changed the water pump around 160k. tranny still gets stuck in reverse if I go over 3000rpm. gotta replace a bulb in the spoiler and one of my fog lights don't work. door lock timer is a lil funky. passenger seatbelt gives me a seatbelt warning once a day. suv hit my front passenger door while I was parked so I can't open that door any more.

New O2, New MAF, New EGR, NEW FPR, New Pacesetter Short throw shifter, (bought) front mount intercooler, Blitz Dual SBC, Garrett T300 turbo, probably also (2) Garrett t04's, New Clutch and Flywheel this week, New BMW E36 ZKW parabolic/Freeform headlights, etc.

Also....

Just got a 1992 SE parts car to rebuild that engine and drop it in mine as it is the same year and the VTCs and all are solid in it. Soon I will have an Auto Tranny for the VE30DE engine for sale if someone wants, or needs one. It is the 3-mode ECU as well if anyone would like that and the system for it!

1992 GXE max here with 70K, yes believe or not 70K! Didn't do too much riding unil now.

 

120,000 on my 90 SE and still running smooth

 

150,000 on my 91 SE. Currently replacing power steering pump. Been through 2 y-pipes, 1 set of rotors. Tint is in dire straits.
