Goodbye...

Well guys, looks like my days as a Maxima owner are quickly coming to an end. The automagic on the car has been messing up EXACTLY once a month for past 3 or 4 months, so I'm selling the whole car. I have someone who is planning on buying it the middle of next week and my replacement car (95 Integra GS-R) is already here and I'm loving it. So take it easy guys and drive carefully.

PS- I do have some parts for sale: BRAND NEW Nissan timing belt (w/sticker), 2 Cam Seals, 1 crank seal. All are brand new from Courtesy.

Later!

94/5 GSR 4-door was my other option besides the VE. I'm glad I picked the VE, too many 'tegs here in SoCal.

Good luck with your integra, I'm sorry we're losing a Max owner to the Acura team, but even though there are so many of them, Integras are nice, nice cars.

Now a question, why do you have a brand new timing belt? Were you planning on changing the timing belt yourself? I'm due for a timing belt change on my 92SE 5spd (130k miles), but I'm reluctant to pay the $500 my dealer is asking. Does anybody know what I can do about this? Is taking it in to the dealer the best option?

Thanks,
QMax

So then what does one do with a timing chain? Replace it as the dealers say every 60k miles? Or something else?

Thanks,
QMax

you don't have to change the timing chain. I've heard of the sprokets "going bad" but thats VERY rare!

The timing chain should last the life of the engine.

I actually got the 2 door hatchback GSR, red with black leather. And don't worry guys... I won't put a wing on my car, the exhaust will either remain stock or at least look stock. And it will have NO STICKERS!! (See it won't look anything like most Integras )
