shift knob

shift ****

question,

I'm trying to take out my shift know so i could mod it, or replace it. There are three screws in the shift **** and it's got some wires connecting it to the transmission. I removed the center console. what do i do now??

the wires are for the overdrive. (im assuming that this is an auto) you will need to cut the wires, and depending on what kind of aftermarket shift **** you have, you can rewire them to the new overdrive button. thats about all you have to do.

what about the e-brake?

what does it take to remove the e-brake.. i found an after market one, but it is much shorter, does this matter?

If you are talking about a cover. It is a pain in the *** you have to cut off the leather cover that is on there and then make a boot for the base or it will be super ghetto
