I've seen the Eagle rods for about $425 a few months back...

They're not Crower rods, but they're still very good. much stronger than stock.

Ok I have to jump in here

TEP, aka Top end performance, those guys are money hungry ripoff artists, and theyre @$$holes to boot. I could go have a set of rods balanced shot peened, and cryogenically treated for that. Trust me when I say that you'd be better of shopiing around on ANY item than going to TEP. Dont take my word for it, go to any of the Z foums (zcar.com, zdriver.com, twinturbo.net, etc.) and search on TEP, and see what you come up with, those guys are not liked because the owner has literally *****ed out customers who have spent many thousands of $ there for asking him tech questions on the phone on products he sold them!!! Anyways sorry for ranting, but I'd rather not see fellow Nissan enthusiasts get taken for their money.

I hear you Tony and yeah I lurk around Zcar.com on the regular basis so I know what you're saying, TEP's service rep ain't that great, but I've talked to Steve @ TEP a few times, through phone and email and gotten decent responses from him concerning my plans....as far as pricing goes, I can't say whats good or not cause myself I haven't really "shopped around" for this project as much as I usually do, but yeah I'm sure you can find shot peeingn and other similar services for less at a smaller shop or organization.

here some examples of the negative feedback-->
http://www.zcar.com/forums/read.php?f=4&i=54634&t=54384

I can't say I personally have had a bad experience with them, but if others have, then I can't refute their claims!

**** getting stronger rods unless your crazy for boost. Not worth the money you won't see *THAT* much gain on an NA setup. I had Crower rods by the way.

Well 98%(roughly speaking) of the people on this Forum DON'T have a Turbo VG or a 300ZX and if they did, then they would already know this information. Sorry.. I had a bad day..
