Tansmission Concern
Tansmission Concern
Third Generation Maxima.
I have just recently bought my first Maxima, it is the GXE and a 1990.
My question is: I was looking under the hood and from the top of the transmission cover there is a vacuum hose that is attached to a piece of metal on one end and to the tansmission cover on the other end. This hose is hanging loose and I cannot seem to figure out where it should attach.
Any ideas?
Thank-You

Re: Tansmission Concern
I'm pretty sure thats the vent hose...you should leave it hanging!

is it the one that's about a foot long, then has a "U-bend" in the end of it?
if so, then that's the vent hose...
they may have gone out years ago, but our cars weren't made yesterday either.
