I know folks have discussed engine oil additives. And that the general feeling is that they are, well, the jury's out.

Bobby Likus car show (AM Radio show on weekends for those who listen to talk radio) touts X1R and there are folks who call in to the show who give the additive pretty high marks.

I just bought some of the stuff and plan to give it a go tomorrow when I change my oil. There is also a fuel additive (same principle as any ol' fuel injection cleaner but it costs ~ 4 times the generic stuff). I dunno bout the fuel additive, but the engine oil additive sounds interesting. Will post results over the next few weeks. Anyone else tried it?
