I see a stock Y-pipe. I think this guy is under the assumption that the stock motor has 190hp (like the VE's).

Wow. I must be pushin a good 250hp then...

what a joke.

I see so many people doing this on eBay. And what's worse is when you see GXEs sold on eBay as SEs. I saw a used car dealer on eBay selling a GXE listed as an SE and when I called him out on it in an e-mail he got really ****ed at me...

He quoted dyno numbers to me

I emailed him about the HP claim, and this is what he said....

"CAM and custom header work, 3 angle bore job. Dynoed at 210.5 RWHP and 213.7 RWHP at DTM performance shop in Silver spring, Md."

RWHP, yeah I know.....

email him back and A) ask him how they calculated RWHP on a front wheel drive car and B) to email you a copy of the dyno slip

(act like your interested in buying the car but need proof of claims )

Actually, this is what I said to him...
I started out with the "I'm really interested stuff in the first email. this is the second one:

Okay,

So the custom work is how you got to 10K in modifications. Forgive my doubt, but I do know a considerable amount about these cars. Would you be willing to prove your dyno numbers as a term of the sale, since the 210+ HP is the first claim that you make? And also, you have custom headers? I have been looking for this for a while. How much were they? Did you have them fabricated, or did you have a stock ones bored out? Did that DTM place do those too? Do you have a number so I can ask them prices

And isn't it a front wheel drive car? Do you have a aftermarket Y-pipe? Because the custom header work would not be as beneficial without it
