Please recommend a good thickness gauge for rotors
One tool that I want to add to my collection is a good micrometer or whatever you call the thing to measure rotor thickness.
What brand or model is good and reliable?

I have a Starrett model 458AXRL. It has a range of .3"-1.3". It is specially make for brake discs. I bought it where I work.www.mscdirect.com. Our part number is 86447398. You can enter the number on the search screen and it will take you to the item. The anvil end is pointed to get down into the wear grooves on a rotor. Starrett is the best American-made measuring instrument company there is. You will probably not find anything better. Only cheaper.
