JWT ECU Does Work - New Best Time
JWT ECU Does Work - New Best Time
I am happy to say that I am one of the few VG Autos that are in the 15's. After adding my new ECU I ran a personal best. Started around 5:30 but it was way to hot. As the weather got better so did my times.
R/T .6845
60' 2.3890
330' 6.73
1/8 10.3319
1000' 13.4359
1/4 16.0962
MPH 85.3205
R/T .6059
60' 2.311
330' 6.6405
1/8 10.2345
1000' 13.3358
1/4 15.99
MPH 85.1516
So for all of you wanting to know if it helps - IT DOES. My last personal best before the ECU was a 16.29, you do the math. I think my times would be better if it was cooler but I am sure so would everyone elses.

hopefully it'll get even better when we go to MIR(the "Miracle Track"
) one of these days!!!!
My first time at the track I ran a 16.53 with only an intake. I then put on a Y and Carsound cat and my best time was 16.28. Now that I have a ECU I am at 15.99. I would go in the same order that I did for your mods. You need an intake to get the air in, then a Y to get the air out. After that you can add the ECU and you will see the most gains out of it. And I don't think I will be doing nitrous, but after talking with DA-MAX I have some new ideas up my sleeve
In the last 2 times I have been to the track I have gotten in 12 runs and figured out they best way to do it. I hit the gas at the same time as letting go of the break, I do hold my car at about 900-1000 rpms while waiting. I don't want to install another tranny. I start in 1st then shift at 6400 to 2nd and shift again at 6400. I also leave overdrive on and keep the power button selector in the middle, because it will choose the best one. Thats the best way for me. I am very happy with my times, but I think with about $400 more and some good free labor from a family member I will be running 15.5's, right DA-MAX
