new springs--should i know get shocks?

new springs--should i know get shocks?

i am ordering new springs(suspension techniques) so i was thinking should i change the shocks or struts(what is the difference?) while i am getting new springs?? KYB ABX or Tocicko?? will it effect my ride from stock?? i dunno what to do so what u think change or not change. i have a 90 se. thanks

Tokicos $335 shipped. and yes change the struts because if you lower your car on stock struts youll probably blow them.

Change them all at once, you'll save time and money. SHOX.COM quoted me $300 shipped a few weeks ago.

change them because you're already there when installing the springs. Trust me you might spend more money now but it is worth it.

as always there is the question what to pick. should i go with KYB ABX or Tokico?? i heard that there are problems with Tokico, is that right?

they dont make KYB AGX for 3rd gen, only the KYB GR2

KYBs are good
Tokicos are good

i see, but what is really the difference between them?? i want one that will last long. i really dont know what i am taslking about hehehe, i just need a tip on which one is better or who has it and is satisfied.

I have H&R springs with Toks, and they are holding up OK. I wish the tokicos were a bit stiffer, but hey.

If you want ultimate performance, get Koni. If you don't want to spend that much, get Tokico.
