Sway Bar Part

Sway Bar Part
I am just curious to know what a part is refered to. It is the part that is connected to the lower A-Arm and the Sway bar, Kind of a bolt with a "L" to it at the sway bar and a rubber bushing thing on the A-Arm that the bolt thing goes through. What would one tell their mechanic they are looking for to order this part?? Mine are missing on one side and broke on the other. Trying to get my suspension back in order. Thanks.

Yes Search is my friend if I know what the part is called that I might want to search for. When you speak the word SWAY BAR around here, thats an object that goes on the top of the suspension, under the hood. What I want is a part that is attached to the bottom "Stock" sway bar under the car, just about where the firewall is.

Side note:
Does every question nowadays have to be met with the "Don't ask me, do a search" crap? Even when it is obvious that the person doesn't even have a "keyword" to even start with?

I did some research for you my friend. I have also searched through the "sway bar" posts and dont recall seeing any metion this part.
The part I believe you are referring to is call "ROD ASSY-CONNECTING, STABILIZER - PASS/DRIVER SIDE - Maxima - 1989 to 1994"
Part numbers:
56260-85E15
56260-15E15
those are the hanging links that connect the stabilizer bar to the bracket on the car. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, Jayson thanks for all the info you gave me at the beginning of the month. They were really good. I still need to get the bar installed. I need a place to weld the L brackets for me. I have also been told that the connecting links themselves described above will break too. Has this happened to you? I was told to fabricate or weld a reinforcement on them.

The one on the side where the bracket broke on mine was broken. I went to courtesy and replaced them both when I had the welding done.

I got the brackets from courtesy and I was gonna order new links from him but he told that the new ones will break too. He described them breaking down where the bushings clamp on to the bar. He says hes been through 3 of them.

I live in the Dallas area, and Kaleb told me about his breaking after mine broke. I got the brackets from ADDCO. I have had my bar on about 9 months, and it looks fine, but again, those parts were new.
