I have a ?

A couple months ago my passenger headlight kept going off and on, when i flicked the lights on and off a couple times it would finally come on, but while i was driving it would shut off and on.
I checked what wiring i could see and found nothing.
So i replaced the bulbs with CoolBlues i think it was.
They both turned on and looked good but when i switched over to brights i only had one.
so i was like ok no big deal.
No when i switch over to Brights i have none.
they just turn off.
I dont' know if it's the bulbs or if maybe i'm burning them out and something is wrong with my voltage regulator or what.
Any ideas or suggestions?
thanks

I had a similar problem with my 92--lights seemed to have a mind of their own. Turned out the problem was the electrical plugs on the back of the headlights. The connections had gotten a little corrosion on them and the higher resistance had generated enough heat to melt the plastic plugs! I got replacements at Pep Boys and spliced them in. No more headlight troubles.
