equates to 70HP, for a total of 230...

While we are on rice, I saw a VW jetta that had chrome hubcaps, yellow stickers every where and a spoiler on top of a spoiler it was like he just glued it on. Thats only half of its riceyness

"Check with Greddy. They claim to gain 25-30HP with cat-back system.
I never dyno'ed the car. The car beats 97' BMW 528i (190HP), 1997 Maxima (190HP).

"Jet performance" claims a gain of 30HP on an ECU upgrade. Where did you get 175 from?"

 

well, hope you don't hate me for adding to the thread. this should be my last ebay maxima contribution. i'm sure this might be locked down because it's only sole purpose is to inform others of the lack of gains they can expect from these mods. here's his follow up...

Well, lets think of it together.
Free flow exhaust system "cat-back" adds around 20HP,

Air intake system that is routed outside of the engine compartment and does infect bring in cool air 15HP.

Computer chip 25-30HP.

Catalytic converter taken out from the exhaust allowing better exhaust flow - 10HP

Wider Y-pipe 3" stock is 2.5" (goes out of manifold and connects to catalytic converter) -10HP

That's 240HP.
