might be saying goodbye...

well my 90 se is probably going to be up for sale soon. my friend is selling his 93 corrado slc, and i can get a really good price for it. it has wheels, exhaust, chip, and intake. but i am partial to maximas. my family has been driving maximas for years. my mom and dad bought a 1st gen when it first came out, and now my mom has a 4th gen. my dad did have a 4th gen, but he sold it and got a 88 bmw m6. (now thats a car) so weve had very good luck with maximas. i really cant decide between getting the corrado or going for a ve 5 spd. its a tough decision. that corrado is a beast though. so i dont know, well see what happens. but ill stay here at the forum no matter what.

not sure of the maintenece track record, but I've loved the Corrado forever, I think stock they are just as fast as the VE 5spd maybe a tad more, but #1 they look sweet as hell and #2, they can be made nice and fast pretty easy...I know Autothority over here in DC does all types of VW work and they have a few Corrados. I fogot which year, but didn't the early 90's models come with an SC'd 1.8l???

yeah the 90 and 91 came in the g60 supercharged, and in 92 you could choose between the slc vr6 or the g60. but the g60s are pretty slow, and high maintanence. but the vr6s on the other hand... there is plenty you can do with those.

yeah I just read some stuff on the G60...way too many mech probs(compared to a VE), but yeah the VR6 is not a bad engine at all and plenty of goodies! hard decision, I guess it comes down to 4 doors v. 2 doors???

vw corrado. made from 90-94. came in 4 cyl g60 supercharged and a vr6 slc. heres a pic of a 93 slc, basically stock. it kept the same body style the whole time. if i could get someone to host a pic i have a pic of the most badass corrado ever. i swear anyone will think its tight.
