window regulator

I have a 91 Maxima SE. The front passenger automatic window quit working. It will sort of go down, sometimes by itself, but won't go back up. I can push it back up using two hands. It sounds like the regulator is shot. This isn't really a job I want to do myself. Is there a good source (online?) to buy these? I can get a local mechanic to do the install.

thanks in advance

I bought one from Courtesy Nissan last year about this time. It cost about $60. Ebay has auctions for them all the time that go for a little cheaper than that but these are Nissan manufactured at Courtesy Nissan. Hope I helped you out a little.

What's a fair price to pay for the install?

go to How Tos at the top of the page and then it will be on that page, don't forget to thank Craig when you are done.

It's really easy to do yourself. I did it, and it was the first work I have EVER done on any car.
