I AM GETTING 17" RIMS FOR MY CAR, AND I AM LOWERING IT WITH THE EIBACH SPRINGS PRO KIT, BUT I DONT HAVE A CLUE ON WHAT SIZE TIRE TO GET. WHOEVER EMAILS ME BACK PLEASE TELL ME WHAT SIZE TIRE SHOULD I GET AND WHY.

You can start by not typing in CAPS. That tends to irritate people. I'm sure someone here can answer your question, not me though. If you want to find out you can always ask a shop, where they put on rims and tires. That's all I know.

why dont you ask, the people your are buying Rims from what tire size you should get.

 

It would help to know the width of the rim and not just the diameter. That makes a bid difference. If you are getting 17x7.5 or 7 then you should probably go with a 205/40 unless you want a little more sidewall then go with the 45 ...??? Or go to tirerack.com and plug in the size of the rim. It will give you the recommended size I think.

If you want close to the stock size get 225-45-17 or 235-45-17 I think the 225 is a little smaller that stock and the 235 is a little larger than stock but they are both close. I have 225-45-17 on mine for reference and I love them.
