My options
Well, my quest for a VE 5-Speed is not going so well. I can get all my mods back off of my old car, but I have to replace them with stock parts. So I have to buy new 3rd gen before the settlement.
I have a few options that I'd like to ask your opinions on:
1. 1993 VE 5 Speed Black on Tan leather 132K in California $3300 plus $500 to deliver it. Nice car, has all service records, but VTC's are ticking.
2. 1993 VE 5 Speed Red on Black Leather 79K can drive back, $4400. Carfax show a possible odometer rollback.
3. 1993 VE 5 Speed White on Black (The perfect replacement), 159K, can pick up (close) $3500, VTC's have been repaired.
4. Sellout --- I am the second high bidder on this car, and the high bidder has not responded. And it's local.
5.1992 VE 5 Speed Black on Black Leather, 132K, $3200, in chicago area, I'd pick it up.
6. A honda....just kidding.
Let me know what you guys think.

and IMO I wouldnt buy a modded car, because those mods were on there for a reason, speed mods are to go fast. and you dont want a car that been driven hard(not that jared's was)

I have also eliminated the people who did not return calls and those that started out with ridiculous prices.
But there are several availible. Just depends on where you are at.

I'm in Dallas so that's why I'm asking.

#2 of course. #1 and #3 have too many damn miles. Nissans run a long time, we all know as the engine ages you're going to have to shell out money to replace things. #2 seems as though it may be a little expensive not, but in the end you could end up saving more because you don't have to do as many repairs. Red with black leather looks good, but to me it stands out as a car that will be stolen. Regardless, my choice would be #2.
