does anybody know how fast i could realistically get my 92auto (i got stuck with it, it was my moms but its still a max)down the track? anybody have any e/ts on their auto? any performance mods for low end torque?

The problem with that is you will lose highend power if you want lowend torque. There really isn't much you can do except advancing your timing and buying a higher stall torque convertor. Other than that you are stuck out.

Ahh its not that bad. Soon I will have Don's VB(proto) and hopefully it will be good and released. That will help. As will what Nismo said..

whats a reasonable higher stall? i've emailed a couple of tc companies but nobody has gotten back in touch with me. btw, i've heard a bunch of people talk about Don and this VB mod and i have no idea who Don is and what the VB mod is. anyone wanna explain to the new guy

Don owns the fastest Maxima currently on the forum(high 12 second nos powered Max). The valve body is a piece of soft aluminum in your tranny that controls line pressure. By modifying it you are able to increase fluid pressure getting a harder grip on the shifts and stuff..

what generation is his max? is it an auto? what mods does he have on his? is there a way i can get in touch with him to find out about it?
