I have one>>>

I bought one of their aluminized pipes cuz I live in Miami. I painted it, but most of it chipped off. I used 1500 degree F paint. I guess it was cheap paint. Anyway Dallas posted an email I sent him regarding my thought on their pipe. Do a search and u will find it. A quick over view is that the pipe is AWSOME!! The car pulls hella harder and revs quicker. The low end didn't change too much, I probably gain a little down there cuz I feel that take off is faster. The mid-high end will have u grinning. The gains @ mid/high end are incredible, atleast it was for me. Before the new y pipe I would click the OD off and it would start to pull @ 50-60mph. Now with the new WSP pipe the pull starts @ 40 on up. Another thing I noticed was that before the pipe my A/C would rob power, but now it doesn't. I pulls no matter what. Wait until u start passing bimmers with athority like I now do.

Take care,
ICE

BTW any question, please ask.

AKAICEBERG: Did you change just the Y-pipe or the entire exhaust system? Also what sort of other mods ( I guess I did not looked at the mods you made) regarding intake in your car?
How Loud you exhaust is?

Thanks in advance

Hey MSK

I only purchased the y pipe. The "B" pipe and cat are the only things I need to replace on my exhaust. I think the "B" pipe and cat really won't do much as far as performance. You need some kind of back presure to maintain low end torque, atleast thats what I hear.

Well before the y pipe I only had a high flow muffler. The muffler alone would make a nice mellow growl all the at the back of the car. No that I have the y pipe the noise has mellowed out even more and I now have a nice growl starting from the front of the car all the way back. It really sounds nice. I have no complaints. Trust me, the growl is sweet!! It's in no way loud or annoying. But then again I guess it depends on your current exhaust set up. If you have a greddy cat back then there is really nothing that will mellow that thing out. LOL

Take care,
ICE

BTW my mods are listed below

Thanks for the info and suggestions. I have not done any mods yet except the K&N drop in filter and clear corners this weekend. I am impressed with WSPs honesty and their prices and they happen to live in the next state from me.

Thanks again

WarpSpeed Exhaust

Thanks to this post and many others, I have decided to go with a full blown WarpSpeed Exhaust system because they have a full exhaust package for us (Maxima.org members) for $695. I read a little about the GReddy and the increased noise was a huge concern. I want to keep my Maxima pretty quiet.
