Is it possible to switch out my interior for another? Update: I got the interior!!!

I was driving by a wrecking yard today, and they had a fresh max that just came in. It was hit head-on, and is pretty much unsalvagable. I don't know the year, but it's a GXE - like mine. It's tan, w/ a tan cloth interior - which is still in great condition. My interior is maroon cloth, and it's faded REALLY badly. Do you think I could rip out the interior off the wrecked Max and put it in mine? I have always wanted tan interior, since it looks best with my red/maroon paint. How hard do you think it would be, and do you think it would cost me a lot?

Give me some of your suggestions.

should swap out fine. It wouldn't take much except some time to complete the swap. Just find out how much the yard wants for the full interior and if it's reasonable to you then go for it...

How would I go about removing the carpet? That seems like it would be the hardest part, along with the dashboard and the fabric between the windshield and the door. Have any of you ever done this?

Ok, I went and looked @ the interior today. I didn't get a REAL close up look, but there are some spots on the seats - I hope it's not blood..

Anyway, the towing place wouldn't give me any information on it, or what the owners were intending on doing with it. I'm gonna drive by every day and when it's gone, hopefully they'll tell me what junkyard they sent it too.

If I do get the interior, I'll have to have it professionally cleaned so that it looks new. I really hope I can get it Also, the seats are made of a weird fabric - like REALLY thick corderoy (sp?).

Alright, obviously nobody is interested!

Anyway - I got the interior today. I'm paying $275 for the whole shebang - seats, floorboard carpeting, door panels, colored part of the dash, removable carpets, seatbelts, steering wheel. They are also gonna remove it for me. I can't wait to start installing it! Also, the spots I saw on the seats were only cat hair.

I'm gonna start ripping some of the stuff out tomorrow

If anybody is interested in my old interior, lmk. You can view it at my homepage.
