I was just about to bid and had a second thought..I could come up with the cash, but my 140k mile vg is in no condition to have boost on it. That turbo stuff would just sit until I could get my 3.3 long block built. That might take some time.

FYI I found out from z31 sources that the 3.3 block has thicker casting walls so it can be bored out more. Stonger than a bored vg30. Also, stock TT rods and crank drop right in. Get some pistons and you have a large displacement Vg with a forged bottom end capable of handling 500hp. Get the heads done right, upgrade the ECU and fuel system, install turbo system and there you have at least 300hp at moderate boost levels. Crank it up and 500hp should be attainable.

Yes it for the 300zx. The VG30E used in both the old 300zx and the 3rdGen Maximas are basically the same engine.

It's all the same..vg30 motor is a vg30 motor. The non-turbo versions like our maxes have (and were also in the non-turbo 300zx with the older style intake manifold and TB) are higher compression so they can only handle lower boost levels. Everything basically bolts up, but the intake and exhaust plumbing will have to be custom. As long as you have the turbo, exhaust manifolds and crossover pipe you can do it. Bigger injectors, fuel pump and ECU reprogram (or use the VG30ET ECU) will allow higher boost.

for u guys that don't know...this is not a "ez bolt on" per se. that turbo "kit" is made for Z31 NA cars. if you want to slap this on to the maxima VG engine it's going to take more work than you think.
