Re-attaching rear seat

I pulled out the top of the rear seat back to try to find the source of some noises and now I can't get the u-shaped hooks on the upper corners back in the slots in the rear deck. Do I have to pull out the bottom of the seat back first, drop in the top and then push the bottom back in? Don't want to make it worse than it is if not necessary. Anyone who know how this thing goes together please advise. Thanks.

It's not reall that hard. Pull off the bottom seat, then unscrew the back part from the car. Lift it up back into place, and then screw it back together. It should only take you about ten min. Good luck

Are there any fasteners attaching the seat bottom? Where does the seat back screw in? Can you tell I've never had the seat out before? Thanks man!

Re-attaching rear seat

If you lift your rear seat just a little and take a look underneath it, there are 2 hooks on both the right and left sides of the seat, they look like u bolts. Just stick a long screw driver in the middle of each hook and pry it up. The hooks should then come out and you will be able to remove the seat. To put them back u just push down hard on ther seat so that the hooks clip into place. It's very simple as u see. Hope this help.
