178,500 still has 200,000 more left in it at least
My mom's 90 GXE 178,600 and going strong.

RFMaxima 12-07-2000 07:21 PM

369 thousand miles, and it will still do over 115mph and love it. Bought an intake and just recieved my y-pipe. I think i take the cake when it comes to mileage on this forum. Original tranny, engine, exhaust, everything is original..

tinymax 12-07-2000 07:40 PM

242,000 and 4 trannies on a 91 se 5spd i also worked at a dealership where the parts truck had 590,000 on a vg30e and 3 auto trannies they put crank and piston bearings in at 590 and the truck didnt need it there was little wear and that was 2 years ago and its still doing deliveries

NYCe MaXiMa 12-07-2000 07:41 PM

369k!!!!!!! ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS!?!?!?

DAAAAAYYYYYYMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!

are u sure you didn't have your odometer rolled forwards? ;)

thats crazy! you must drive all highway, thats a lot of ****ing miles, and still original tranny and ****, oh damn i wish/hope my max will improve its reliability, because I am doubting it :)

RFMaxima 12-07-2000 07:47 PM

Actually... what will blow your mind more, is we bought that car new... and about a few years ago the speedometer and the odometer went out and it didn't register almost like 30 thousand miles, so i'm actually pushing closer to 400 thousand. All stock, it is the best built car i've ever seen. My mechanic has never seen a car run so well for being so old. My dad was in sales and had to drive a lot, my mom had to drive a lot, and now i even still drive alot. But i'm working on fixing it up.

Josh, you should take some pics of your odometer...that's gotta be a record of some kind!

I have 77K!

:vampire: my 93 GXE only comes out at night to feed on smaller P.O.S.'s. That and some grandma owned it before me. But between the two, it doesn't get much milage.

RICOiz704 12-08-2000 10:26 AM

Nick you sound like me im 137,*** or so and rebuilt tranny at 129k. Motor runs stronger than a weight lifting midget, it's sold(to my cuz just waiting on the money) but it still has alot of life on it looks and runs good. But I need to move up to the 5gen

davis449 12-08-2000 01:27 PM

111,000 here. New VTC at 50k, new 1st and 2nd gear at 95k, new struts at 107k, new strut mount (I hope by Monday) at 111k, few other small things. Runs great though.

mykizism 12-09-2000 05:05 PM

369?!?!?!

thats outrageous!!! hahahahah OMG.. thats like so unbelieve able..

kingocat 12-09-2000 11:14 PM

chris92gxe 12-10-2000 12:42 AM

160k and still modding, damn tranny is a pain in the *** though.

1FasMax 12-10-2000 06:07 AM

traded my 93 SE (22,000k) for 95 SE which was stolen at (187k) and now have a 97 SE (78k) and a 92 SE (158k-this one new used motor tho)

RacerChoi 12-10-2000 12:31 PM

my 92 Se has 115k. had only 92k when i bought it 9 months ago. the way i'm driving, i'll probably hit 150k soon. Can't help it, its a fun ride!!! My engine idles a bit rough now, but i think this thing will go for quite a while :D

12-11-2000 12:59 PM

92 SE 164,000

Original engine and auto transmission. Was taken to Germany for 3 years. Autobahns are wonderful! No speed limits (except in big towns) Insurance is great! (You don't get smacked for speeding tickets like you do in the states, you just pay the ticket) But my Max is still doing fine. Wife will not let go of it. Its her car now!
